Some prime examples of our art, squashed into those handy bite size packets called mp3s. Very handy, but not representative of the full spectrum, stereographic,
hi-fidelity (hi hi) gramophonic glory of the real thing. So buy the records if you like
this stuff. Go on. Do it. You know you want to. There's also some new tracks to listen to on the Stabilisers MySpace errr.. space.
Video
Feast your peepers on the hallucinatory wonder of our big
budget videos for 'Belinda' , 'Wanna' and 'Do the Brane'.
- It's our infamous dodgy promo for 'She
wants it all the time'.... click here to experience
the full horror unleashed when a video editor gets carried
away after watching too many 'gentlemen's' flicks in his
spare time. Made by those lovely people at Skipping
Musez, and possibly for over 18's only depending on
your squeamishness. Nothing to do with us 'guv. A simple
video of us in Dickensian dress being poisoned by a waitress
would have done. You'll need Windows Media Player for this
treat.

From
the current Wicked Cool album Wanna
do the wild plastic brane love thing? Same title, different
album... a collection of our 'greatest' moments..
Wanna
Riff-tastic stomper kicks off the new album and was
also the b side of the last single 'Do the Brane', released
last year on genuine, classic, pre-digital, valve powered,
analogue, proper black vinyl..
Where the wild things are Reaching speeds of over
100mph, this little ditty will plant the seeds of rebellion in your head as you toil over your rancid, sticky, dandruff clogged keyboard. Talking of
keyboards, this recording also features his Lordship on the cheapest digital keyboard currently still functioning in the UK. Powered by 6 barely charged D size batteries, this
brittle plastic horror survived the horrific New Romantic wars of the 80's and apparently slipped through a wormhole in space to take its place in our considerable amoury of
rubbish equipment. It's smaller than a Hammond though.
From
the original 2006 Acid Jazz album Wanna
do the wild plastic brane love thing? - now officially
deleted, but we still have a few copies..
Drunk Again (128kbps)
A lost classic, telling the tale of a typical lovable
Londoner out on the lash. Charming. We only ever played this
once at a gig. It was too complicated, specially after a couple
of pints.
Mental
Illness is good for you(128kbps)
A tale of happy pills, self delusion and groundless
optimism. From the days when we thought we were a punk rock
band. Then someone told us we were a garage band after all.
From
Last
Chance Saloon (the
semi-mythical 1st album. Now available again from Wicked
Cool)
Now and Forever (64 kbps) Sometimes you just have to shut your
eyes and read between the lines to make any sense of things at all. Or can you read between the lines when you've got your eyes shut?
Bendy Head (64kbps) The best thing about you is your bendy head, bendy,
bendy, BEN-DEEEEEEEEE! So there. Anyone who says they don't like this song is lying. Or will be after we've finished forcefully explaining its finer points.
From Evil
Picnic EP
Taking the Piss (64kbps)
151 seconds of ill-infomed political ranting and moderate swearing squashed into 984kbp. One of these days we'll put the original version up, with an extra 35 seconds of us
repeatedly saying 'piss'. That'll show the anti-globalisation activists how to really stick it to 'the man'.
From Keep it up, Peter Chen's Whore (fanclub only live album)
Let Me Come Home Recorded live at the Tendenze festival in Piacenza (Peter Chen's Whore),
Italy by waving a hand-held microphone in the general direction of the stage. A joyous recital of this masterpiece of pentatonic laziness. The spirit of 8 Ace in song.
