The Stabilisers have now split. It's all a bit sudden, but that's life. Thank you to anyone who has bought and enjoyed the albums, and also to those of you who came to any of our gigs. Your appreciation was appreciated. If you still want to get hold of our music, go to Wicked Cool Records .

2009 dawns! The economic apocalypse is here, and we're all doomed! Meanwhile, our song 'love is easy in the summertime' is being used on Australian Fox8 TV network to advertise their summer schedule. Maybe the end of capitalism and the breakdown of democracy won't so bad after all...
We will actually have a new album out in 2009...it's mostly recorded but such is the way of things these days that is has to be scheduled years in advance. Look out for it in the summer. Our summer, not Australia's, which is now. ie about August.

25/7/2008 Get your Stabilisers t-shirts and back catalogue at knockdown dollar prices! Wicked Cool are doing some dodgy deals for our stuff here. It's dead cheap, specially the t-shirt/2 CD deal. I mean, $23?! You can barely get a skinny decaff grande frappucino with cinammon sprinkles for that money over here. Must be the credit crunch... still, take advantage now, before they go bust.

COOLEST SONGS IN THE WORLD VOL 6 features 'Belinda'.... finally we get our turn on of these really quite good compilations. Have a look at the rather splendid promo video here...

22/4/2008 Rare first album now available via digital download... and of course on CD. Our first album 'Last Chance Saloon' from 2004, which never really had a proper release, has now been made available by Wicked Cool records. If you're an old Luddite and stil prefer owning a bit of plastic rather than some ones and zeros you can still get the CD as well. Although a CD is still ones and zeros... Bring back wax cylinders.

4/4/2008 Are old style websites on the way out? We keep forgetting about this site - it's all Myspace these days. So if you're after a sneak preview of some new songs get over to our Myspace site.
But for those of you who are sticking with this, here's a couple of advance titbits:

All our back catalogue songs not available on the recent Wicked Cool compilation 'Wanna do the wild.....etc' will soon be available for download via I-Tunes. If you still hanker after old fashioned CDs and prehistoric vinyl write to us here - we still have some copies of the original releases. Have a look here
